At 92, Andy Rooney Retires From 60 Minutes.
« on: October 02, 2011, 07:55:54 PM »
From lead paint, to the postal service,..phone companies, and the inept practices of politics. Andy Rooney,, at 92 has given his last "final word" on 60 minutes.

Grump-In Chief, Whiner-At-Large, his career spanned an amazing period of history. He was posted about here at DRTV some time ago, and reminds me of my Father-In-Law, Grandfather, and downright grumpy old man, all into one.

Sometimes he made sense. Sometimes he had me yelling at the TV. Generally, like some members of family and friends we all know.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

WHile I never cared for 60 min or Rooney... I do agree with the one comment of his that I have always remembered.
