Semper Fidelis

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

My Grandpa was a Leatherneck in WW1. The rest of us have been dog faces except 2 cousins 1 Navy 1 Leatherneck. The Dog faces in my family have been many places. Uncle with General Patton throughout WW2. Dad 25th ID Korea. Uncle Ranger Vietnam. Brother Panama. 3 cousins and myself Iraq and Afgan. So family reuions are the same we give each other he!!. To bad that Grandpa, Dad and the older warriors of my family are gone. They never talked about what happened to them. I always wondered why and after being there I know now. There is nothing good to talk about. Dad always said only fools want to see war. Every once in awhile you would hear Dad talk to one of my uncles about almost freezing to death and fighting hand to hand, and that is all you would hear. They would just shake their head and say been there done that.
