Kmitch, it was a 686.  The NIB was $750 so this seemed like a steal, especially just for fun at the range.  Nice to know it has stopping power JIC.  Agreed, 357 is a quite potent round.

The last time I saw one, when I had the money, that rotten b@$%#*d Alf already had a bid on it and I didn't want to run the price up against another DRTV'r because he asked us nicely not to.

I really do appreciate you holding back (I think it was another one though).   If you (any of you) ever see me bidding against you just shoot me an email.    I'm not near as good at checking on the other bidders or at recognizing screen names.
