It could make some converts. 

Rebellion is Nature's Way of turning kids into adults.

Youth will tend to oppose the "Oppressive Establishment" (after all, the Oppressive Establishment has been making them eat there veggies and clean their room for some 18 years now) and follow "Enlightened Leaders".  This is how BHO got a lot of the youth vote and how educators influence them....by supporting the suppressed and downtrodden....
