Talk about disconnected from "the people".....Gov. Perdue (D),....has been going to too many elite dinners and events where NC Academia, transplants from "Blue States", and other Progressives figure out what went wrong with the Same Sex Marriage Amendment Vote last week..
As predicted, the urban University areas of NC, (of which I was a 20 year resident), Chapel Hill, Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Asheville, all voted FOR.....
However, the rural areas, the "real North Carolinians",.....overwhelmingly voted, not just no, but "Hell No"...... by an almost 2 to 1 margin.
61 to 38% I believe. There is also 30,000 fellow Dems that signed a petition to have the DNC Convention moved out of NC.... Mostly union folks, as NC is a "Right To Work" state.
Now ol' Gov. Bev, has opened her trap, and removed all doubt that she is a Progressive clueless idiot.
