Even though he was a fan of ObamaCare, The Andy Griffith Show was one of the best TV shows of all time.

That it was.
86 years is a pretty good run. RIP.

His TV persona was of a delightful, caring, thoughtful southerner.  In real life, he was a cantankerous, liberal SOB.

He was entertaining.

RIP Andy Griffith, thanks for the better TV while growing up. Wish we had more towns like Mayberry today.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

And very much anti-gun.  I still remember his sneer on some special network show after the Mayberry show where he said he had a 30-06 Magnum with a sneer.

I can't stand to watch the pandering liberal.  However I do respect your feelings that he was entertaining.  I used to like the show before I found out he was an avowed libertard gun hater....but that's just me.
