You would be wrong.
 You would have to read up on the evolution of RICO prosecutions such as Rudy Giuliani's mafia cases, but the GOP doesn't have the history of systematized corruption going back to the 1800's cooperation between Tammany Hall and the gangs in NY and Boston, and extending up to ACORN, and their incestuous relationship with mob connected Unions today.
  Nor do they have the dems history of acting against the countries best interests extending from starting the Civil war, through their embracing of proven communist spies during the Cold War, to their actions, statements, and leaks since 9-11-01.
With the details fleshed out from public records it would be far easier to convict Democrats than it has ever been to convict Mafia members.
