I see the Patriots gave Plaxico a tryout this weekend!  Though our gun laws are better than NYC, I think his felony gun possession in NY will disqualify him for a permit here..

He'll just have to cruise through Dorchester and buy one on any street corner....

 

Hell, the Governor here will probably pardon the asshat...

Yes Plaxico broke a NY law, however the law violated his civil rights and it is a well established legal principle that illegal laws do not need to be obeyed. You may suffer consequences while you are in the jurisdiction of the oppressor, but that does not make your action wrong.
There is a Latin name for it that MB or some one may know.
