Yep, we really need four more years of these guys.

Note that it one of Obama's propaganda networks reporting on this.

If they admit what's reported here, what is REALLY going on?

Keep in mind that when these guys from both sides talk about creating jobs they are talking to the empty hole in each of us that wants something.  Government does not "create" meaningful and useful jobs.  Every government created job costs workers to fund them.  What government does to create jobs is get out of the way and let the market place live.

It is true that we need a certain number of government workers, and that we need a certain amount of government funded projects, but all creating more jobs with government money does is move the pain from where we are today to that day in the future when we must pay the money back and maybe lose the jobs again anyway.

Here in Minnesota we have the JOBZ program.  This program is intended to create new business in designated areas "zones" in communities.  The way the project works is you put a business in a set spot, and you get sales taxes on the construction and equipping of the business eliminated, you get local government aid or gift for the property, and you get income tax considerations.  The rules say you will employ a certain number and that number will grow by a certain time; you will maintain employment; and you will operate for a certain period of time.  Just like all other Economic Development Administration programs this is a lot of saying "our taxes are too high, so we will help you with it to get you started," or "we are going to use the taxes all these other individuals and companies pay and help you out with them (redistribution of personal assets)."

I am all for reasonable laws that protect the health and safety of the worker and public, and a certain level of taxation is required for public service, but beyond that it is time to get out of the way of the private sector, and quit trying to create with taxpayer dollars.

What Govt can do is create a climate that gives business owners the sense of security and stability needed to invest in starting, or expanding a business that creates jobs.
You do not do that by uncompensated seizure of a car company and threatening any one who "makes to much".

And that would be covered in over taxation and over regulation.

We had/have a similar program here in MA.  My company back in 2006 (Yes!  The Romney years) was able to build a 50K sqft facility with the help of the state and a local banking institution and relocate.  Part of the agreement with the state was "X" amount of employees for "X" amount of years.  I was not privy to all of it as I was run over by a mini-van shortly after the move!  Actually, the next day...  :(

Anyway, it was a boon to the company at the sacrifice of the taxpayers dollar.  The company is doing well but for the two years I worked there, we had a lot of folks with very little to do because we had to maintain a certain quantity of employee base!

A President that assigns a "Jobs Council" that hasn't met in over 9 months,....

and remember the famous quote from BHO:

" Shovel Ready, Wasn't Quite As Shovel Ready As We Intended".......

This is the one part of the RNC that should have just designated 20 min. to quote BHO "In His Own Words"......

and let the MSM choke on it....

RE: Keystone Pipeline/ANWAR,......etc,...etc,....etc,.....It's not rocket science to anyone other than a "community organizer"...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

All those programs make me sick.   if you really want to create jobs cut the red tape and make it worth while for the employer.   the best way to do this is to reform the tax code.   My idea on how to do this is simple.  Reward those that put money back into the econ.   take 2 people, both make $250 k ( the evil number lol)  one has no employees and only buys office supplys.   the other has 10 employees, all make 20 +/hour and  the biz consums 2 mil a year in goods/ services/ raw materials.    currently they both pay the exact same ammount.  One puts very little into the econ, the other puts millions into the econ.    I would purpose that they pay less tax.  Is this policy "fair"  yes and no, but it stimulates the econ far better the current rob from one to pay another.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

TAB,

I understand your rant, but you are heading down the same stupid tax and redistribute road we have today.  It is not for me to decide if you are doing the right thing with your money.  If I make a dollar, you make a dollar, and bogan makes a dollar, we should all pay the same in taxes.  If I make ten dollars, you make a million dollars, and bogan makes one hundred K we should all pay the same percentage.

If one person needs to be offered subsidies and breaks to start or expand a business it is proof that the burdens are too high.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.
