Thanks Tyler (and Peg)! I'm not into the racist stuff, because the gun culture should be inclusive, and I welcome anyone who supports the 2A.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch,  in terms of the Flash Mob, get out or get hidden! You don't have enough ammo to save everyone, and even if you had your AR and all the ammo you wanted, doing the tactically smart thing would put you in prison for life. (cf Rules of engagement for the morally and logically correct response).

On planet earth however, always paying attention to to where the exits are, moving away and avoiding confrontation are the smart ways to go. And if you have to draw your gun, well to quote Truco, "If you're going to shoot, shoot, don't talk" seems like the best advice out there, but that's just me. Because frankly, if it gets bad enough I have to clear leather, I'm pretty sure the time for talking is done.

Yep, and he was still a frog's hair away from life in Leavenworth. That's the point. We all know what the right thing to do in situations like that is. And if it happened a few times, and the cops said "atta boys (girls)" it wouldn't have to happen again. But that ain't going to happen because even if we haven't completly neutered ourselves like the Brits and Aussies, we're pretty close. I wouldn't open fire on that mob, I'd just get out. That's sad, because if a dozen guys with Glocks had opened up and walked away,which they should have, it would have been the last flash mob in Jacksonville. But, as it stands, they'd be sharing a cell with the 200 pound cousin of one of the "innocent children" they shot.
