Justice Holder.

Has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Ranks right up there with Justice Big Sis.

You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles; but at least they drive slowly past schools.

.......in this term Obama will name at least 2 more Justices.

I keep hearing this. Which 2 current serving conservative Justices are planning on retiring? And if they in fact are conservative, and are planning on retiring, who is to say they won't hold off for another 4 years now that Hussein is back? Many of these justices plan their departure based on who's in the White House when they decide to haul ass to the golf course. It's not like their job is that much of a ball breaker. The most likely to go is Ginsberg. Even Hussein will be hard pressed to find a replacement as liberal as her.

Ginsberg for sure, possibly Breyer as he's 74 this year.  Scalia and Kennedy are both north of 76 so either could drop dead any day now!

I think that is more of a threat than either retiring under Hussein. These guys practice their craft for a lifetime, and they are the few who aspire to sit on the highest court in the land. No one believes in their positions more than they do. That is why I think most plan their retirement around who they might be replaced by. Sickness and death would control the courts position more than a hardcore conservative judge retiring in good health under a liberal President.

No argument here Bill and I've pretty much heard Scalia say that very thing.  Kennedy I'm less sure about.

Fate could play a very serious role in the future of the country.
