What I have to say before it's too late
« on: December 30, 2013, 09:28:47 PM »
As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end. There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more.”

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "Did you hear the one about....." This is true for marriages, family relationships, and, especially, old friendships.

It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family members and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heart-felt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life, so they can always say, "He was my brother my friend; and I know where he stood."

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this.......I voted against that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical-socialist, terrorist-excusing, bleeding-heart, narcissistic, scientific-and-economic moron currently squatting in our White House!

That pretty much says it all for me.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage. Where are we now??????

IT is so good that you said this, I hope family and friends understand why you were right and they were wrong. Many of them first voted against that crazy old white guy with that thing growing out of his face . Four years later they had to vote against a super rich old white guy with great hair. Image is everything to most people and substance counts for nothing!

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.--Ray Bradbury
