Neat Old Colt
« on: July 19, 2008, 01:07:47 AM »
Was at a friend's house the other day, and he was showing me a few treasures that he had in the back of his gun safe. Several old pistols and shotguns, including an '03 Springfield Mark I that was his father's hunting rifle. The one that really caught my eye is an old Colt Police Special Positive that also belonged to his dad, chambered in .32-20, fixed sights, four inch barrel, still in beautiful condition. He wants me to try and find out when it was made. If anyone has the resources to run the serial number I would truly appreciate it. The number is 102380, and next to it is a 1 with a circle around it. Thanks in advance.

Try a Colt collectors Forum. The people may not be as nice as here , but they can probably answer your question if someone here doesn't post an answer.

Hello Fox Hound, Post some pics if you can, photobucket.com is an easy way to paste "full size" images.
I like Vintage gun porn just like the new stuff. 8)
