An "up yours, B Ho" AR build

As a "thumb my nose" at old Barak Zippity Doo Dah Obama, here's another AR for the arsenal...this one is a 6.8 SPC build.  Build 'em while you still can....

• DPMS 5.56 lower
• Stag/CMT M4 upper
• Badger Gen II TacLatch
• RRA 2-stage NM trigger
• VLTOR stock
• WOA 18" SS SPR profile barrel and bolt
• PWS FSC30 flash hider / comp
• YHM front sight
• Brownells HK-type rear sight
• ERGO grip
• Magpul triggerguard
• MI low profile gas block
• YHM FF rifle-length quad rail handguard
• MI sling mounts
• EoTech 511
• PRI mags

I've only tested it for basic function checks at 50 yards with Silver State ammo.  No reloads yet. While I wasn't doing any accuracy work, it was printing just a hair under an inch.  We'll see what it does once I get serious about loads.

That PWS comp/flashhider works really well. No noticable back/side blast, but it takes what little recoil the 6.8 has and makes it much closer to a 5.56.  More when I wring this baby out.

I guess an anti-Obama paint job would be plain, basic black, proud of it and not willing to change.

A pro-Obama paint job would change depending on the audience, finding ways to blend in no matter what the situation, and be mesmerizing to idiots, the infirm and liberals...but I repeat myself.

Sweet 6.8mm SPC build!  Great caliber. 

I originally bought my M1A Scout a year and half ago as a birthday gift for myself AND as a "up yours" to Hillary, who I thought then would be the candidate.

Here's how I got mine

CMT/Stag fully assembled upper receiver -- $90
White Oak Armament 18" SPR barrel and headspaced bolt - $280
YHM FF handguard - $120
DPMS bolt carrier -- $80
Charging handle and tac latch -- $30
Gas tube and block -- $30

So that adds up to $630 for the basic upper.  If you got standard M4 hanguards and a lightweight profile barrel you could knock that down to around $500.

BUIS, FH, optics aren't included in that of course.
