Here in the NE, whose dependence on heating oil to heat our homes would benefit most from nuclear power, have seen Yankee Rowe shut down, CT Yankee shut down, Pilgrim due in a few years, Millstone down a reactor and Seabrook under intense pressure, are paying the price of stupid or poor gas line infrastructure improvements!  If we let these asshats on the east and left coasts determine our future we're well and truly phuqued...

 Mike mentioned liberal horror of he long term consequences of nuke plants.
 Have you seen a recent photo of Hiroshima,or Nagasaki ?
How about Detroit ?
