I had to go back to my brother's house to borrow a pole saw today, so before I got on I-69 to come back, I stopped in and got 5 pastries to go. They were guava (maybe), beef, cream cheese, another guava (maybe), and coconut. They were supposed to be 5 different kinds, and I thought another one had cheese in it too. I need to stop in for lunch some time instead of just grabbing something to go. I had 3 pastries for breakfast and just ate the other 2. I now know that if you cook puff pastry long enough it gets about as hard as tortoise shell. Not the best thing when you just had a bunch of teeth pulled.

I didn't get a Cuban sandwich because I thought if it was crusty bread it would be hard on my gums. But this was absolute murder.
