This is why I like Thermold clips.

This is why I like Thermold clips better than G.I. The guys from CroMag loaded G.I. metal stripper clips, unloaded them with a MagRipper, and reloaded them. After 14 loads, both of the brass tabs were broken off making the clip useless. Then they reloaded a Thermold clip over and over. After loading 80+ times, they quit and it was still working like brand new.

And this is the other thing I like about Thermold clips. If you ever do wear them out or break them, they aren't scrap metal. You can burn them.

A really old clip, one of the first ones I ever bought, broke in a half dozen places on the edges. So I lit both ends of it and laid it down on this piece of metal. Then I set a timer and watched it. It didn't smoke at all, and the flames were barely visible. It burned for 10-11 minutes and there was barely anything left. The ash isn't stuck to the metal either, it just fell off when I tipped it over. While it was burning, I passed my hands over it about 5" away and it was HOT. I'm going to order 200 more. I have 900 rounds of JHPs in one can, 900 rounds of M193 ball in another can, and 2 cans full of cardboard inserts, waiting to be filled. These leave less residue than ration heating fuel tabs, and that stuff sticks permanently.

200 more on order for about 44 cents apiece including shipping from UniqueTek. When you figure in how many times each can be reused it's about 1/2 cent each, and I should never have to replace them.
