Magazine Frenzy or where do you buy yours
« on: November 09, 2008, 04:29:08 PM »
Okay, jumping in the fray, I'm getting all those magazines I was going to acquire gradually over time.

Want at least 7 from my Ruger MK I and my Buck Mark (enough to hold one box of ammo).
No problem, MidwayUSA

For the ARs, I figured I needed to add 2ea 5, 10 & 20 rounders to what I already have.   Found those on-line, 2-3 weeks lead time, not too bad <$20ea.

The XD-9 no problem reasonable prices for the 16 rounders, a short back order but okay from several dealers.

Here's the real crunch.

Walther P99 .40S&W.   Is it just me?   The 9mm 15rd is available for ~$20ea, but the .40 12rounder is ++$40ea?  Why so much?

What's everybody's "best place" for magazines?

How's C Products in their AR magazines?

It seems like every time I buy mags it's from a different place. I got a couple of hard to find mags from Sportsman's Guide.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Cool bargins your son has.  I like how he doesn't have reserved pricing.   I've about found everything I need (and can afford).  Thanks for the offer.

Nope ..his is all  true auction bidding.  He hates reserved pricing.
He has said before.. If you want it in an auction.. then have an open auction.
If someone wants to put a reserve on it.. then they need to just sell it outright.

He is one fine young man and I am very proud of him and the way he does business.

I've got 6 C Products mags for my 6.8, and as best I can tell, they're good to go - especially for the price.

I just ordered 3 more Glock 17, 17 round mags. at Glockmeister.com - Spares for my carry weapon at work...before the prices skyrocket.

I'd never dealt with C-Products but I took a chance and order 6 AR-mags.   $12.95ez seemed like a real good deal.  Hope they come through.
