I read something in one of the other threads about Elizabeth Dole that made me remember what I read a couple days after the election.  In our neighborhood every race was won by the one that raised the most money except one.  The spread of the vote also followed the amount raised as well. 

On one hand a person could say that fund raising is just another poll that shows how many support you.  However, since a small group gives most of the money it makes me think that the Joe America cries corruption but is not above being bought.
