Handloader - LCP Review
« on: January 14, 2009, 07:40:28 PM »
Any "Handloader" subscribers/readers, who found the LCP review sort of ODD.  Normally a gun review is in conjunction with reloading information about the cartridge.  But this was just a gun review, like you would find in G&A or ST or AH.

Have there been others, but I just didn't notice?   (I've only been a subscriber for 18 months)

Will work for ammo

Yes it is a little strange for Handloader to run that article as it was written. The author or Wolfe Publishing probably requested one from Ruger to test but didn't have the time necessary to do a full/worthwhile cartridge workup.  Of course it could have been requested by another Wolfe writer who was unavailable when the gun became available for testing, etc. and Wolfe being relatively close to Ruger's AZ facilities felt obligated to run an article about it. The excellent 327 Federal article that is just after it is the norm for Handloader.
