Mexico's drug violence has rapidly escalated despite President Felipe Calderon's deployment of 45,000 soldiers across the country to fight cartels.

Did any of the porkulus bill have money to finish the Border WALL? There's some job creation right there.

How about the 45,000 soldiers on the Mexican side?,...Oh, that's right,...44,978 are CORRUPT!

Maybe they just need to ENFORCE existing laws. We all now "bans" will stop the gun trafficking criminals. ::)

Keep in mind that the way they are starting to define an assault weapn this could ban importation of any firearm with a magazine (detachable or not), semi-autmatic, and even rapid reloading (pump action, lever action or bolt action).

Since when does our Constitution allow or require us to infringe on the Rights of our citizens in order to protect other Nations from imagined danger?
