The book IS a page turner...I also strongly recommend HOT SPRINGS and PALE HORSE...

Haven't read Point of Impact, but, saw Shooter this past weekend and enjoyed it.  Don't know the politcal leanings of the actors - just enjoyed the movie.  Levon Helm has a single scene bit part and he was GREAT!!
