Luckily I'm only a few miles from UPS, not a "UPS Store". I sent my PPK back 3 weeks ago. Still no word about when I'll be getting it back.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

My PPK/S got to the mothership 2 1/2 weeks ago, no word on when she'll come back with a dimple behind the hammer.

Like I posted before, these pistols "ain't" the cheapest out there, and to have a recall going back to 2002? 7 Years?

Plus no hat, shirt, mag, "loaner" ;),, I thought after another pistol (that shall not be named) was giving mags and hats away for the inconvenience of their major recall, S&W could have at least given a rebate, voucher, gift card, SOMETHING!

I own several S&W's, M+P .40, (love it), a Gold Match "tweaked" 1911 (love it also,...) an old Model 19 (which will still out live me)...

and is the "bump in the night pistol"...

and the Walther/S&W.  Which it seems, I just need to shut up and be patient.  :-X

Sorry rant off.....

Even with .380 ammo kinda scarce, I am going to "burn" through a box when I get her back. Hard and fast.
It never had a problem before, and now I have to trust it again...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
