In Response to Kerry & Mexico
« on: April 03, 2009, 09:11:15 PM »
Just sent this off.....

Senator Kerry,

I'm a licensed gun owner in Massachusetts and believe strongly in the 2nd Ammendment to our Constitution.  Any attempt at reinstituting a ban on firearms of any kind is a direct assault on the Constitutional rights granted us by the authors of that great document.

None of the laws regarding guns have had an effect on people that use them in an illegal manner and yet the Democrat party will continue to pander to the folks that believe that the GUN is the problem and not the person that wields it.  This is wrong and you know it's wrong!

Law abiding citizens, who've undergone extensive background checks in order to preserve a Constitutional Right are a growing force in this country.  To a man and woman, we vote, we get involved and we organize in a law abiding manner to once again fight for what is rightfully ours.

Please reconsider and rethink where you want this issue to take this country.  It is tragic that the Mexican Government is undergoing a severe problem in the south but it is their problem and we have more pressing problems here at home.

There are 535 people in the Washington D.C. who are completely out of touch with what this country is thinking and now that the Presidents honeymoon appears to be over, one might reflect on what one would like to be doing after the next election cycle.

Respectfully,

TS Bevins
Uxbridge, MA

Thanks...

I don't know that I may be the only one sending this type of message to this dung pile but sometimes it starts as one voice and slowly but surely the other 800,000 registered gun owners in MA will wake up and do the same.

As far as the other Senator from MA?  Well he resides in FL these days and you folks can keep him!

And I bet he'll read this after his staff filters the mail & think, "Gee I guess I was wrong, maybe I should chnage my whole philosophy". Not too cynical was I? But I agree - excellent letter & that's what we need to do - keep sending them to all these idiots & maybe some will come around.

Keep up the good work. Thank you.

You may want to add that if his bud Biden's daughter and her "friends" didn't snort coke and provide a market the problem wouldn't be nearly as bad.

I'm just saying........
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.
