"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."

- President Ronald Reagan, August 23, 1984

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."  George Washington

I fully understand that worship and relationship with God has many private part, but there is a time to be open and honest.  Ninety-nine percent (my own made up statistic ... if they can make them up to make a point why can't I) is public show to steer people in the right direction.  In a time when the Country is in need of healing and being drawn toward unitiy, what is wrong with a public display of genuine Faith ... If you have any genuine faith?

""I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, I will spit you out of my mouth!""  The words of Jesus from Revelation 3:15 & 16

Are you cold in Faith and to be avoided and left out, are you hot in Faith and available to help, or are you lukewarm and just going though the motions as a show and oblivious to the neccessity of Faith?  I believe our current leader is showing that he is the third and as such dangerous.

I would have more respect for a person that takes a stand one way or the other (whether I agree with them or not) than the foundationless shifting of someone just looking for approval.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Sorry, but I've always believed that if you want to know what they thought at the founding of this Nation you should go back to the Founding Fathers.
