Seems like EVERYBODY is recruiting for the fight against the grabbers.   

I think some folks have figured out that there is a much larger agenda on the libs minds and want to set us (2A'ers) up to do the major fighting since we're used to it. They know there is much more at risk now than just the 2nd Amendment.

Too true. It just pisses me off that the GOP has its head too far up it @##$ to do anything constructive. It was bad enough that they were the party of NO.Now, they're, convening an "emergency" meeting of the RNC (I'm not making this up) to name the Democratic Party as the "Democrat Socialist Party" (conviently forgetting W's $1 trillion dollar bailout).
Understand, I'm not bugged by opposition to the increased fed invlovement in the economy unless it can be demonstrated that its both necessary and short term (which BO hasn't). What bugs the hell out of me though, is that that the GOP has devolved into obstructionism and name calling. They seem to hope Obama will fail and they will be swept in by default. Its as though Reagan and Gingrich never existed. Neither got into office by saying why the other guy was something you should vote against, but rather by saying they were something you should vote FOR. What's the plan? Gingrich gave us a ten point plan with the Contract for America. Where is its counterpart? You can't scare your way to victory, you have to offer an alternative. Are any republican politicians listening? I would be, but all I here is opposition without alternative solutions. Critisism is fine, but only if you've got a better idea, not just broad principles, but what to do tommorow and why you think it will work. Rant over.
