Can you convert the 556 pistol into a SBR, and if so what do you need?

it is legal to covert a pistol to a rifle, but not the other way around.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.

Why not have the best of both?

I have a standard 18" Sig556, the folding stock could be an option.

Hey Rastus, I caught this on the firingline.com forum,  (captured jpg. BTW, what is XYL?) many options for the OP.

I like mine the way it is and can't drop almost $2K for this version (wish I could),...

I'm especially fond of the SBR with the folding stock.  The gas piston works really well with supressors as compared to the impingement system.  I don't use mine very often on my AR's unless I'm in the cleaning mode.
