Hey FQ, I have a friend in the area of West Palm who is looking for a place to shoot his SKS. Can you give he or I an idea of where to go and shoot? He lives outside a golf course the is PGA (Not sure if it is around Royal Palm or not?) area. He also owns my old Smith and Wesson 6906 that I would like to get back; but he would like to shoot.

There's not a lot around here. Gator Guns in WPB and the Delray Shooting Center have 100yd ranges, but its house ammo only due to liability issuses. >:( The SO range has days open to civilians, but I've never messed with it.

Well, will he still get some range time somewhere FQ? I told him I would try to find out and just realized how close you are. Rather convenient. Personal message me a good place to go and not waste money. Thanks, Ping

I'll reply here as there are a few folks in the area. Gator isn't bad. $13 per hour and about that for a 50 rd box of 9mm. Its a nice range, but no rapid fire, though double taps seem to be ok. I've not used the rifle range yet, though that will change when the AR arrives on Thursday, and they assured me, to my shock, that they were cool with buckshot. I just assumed they wouldn't be due to fear of damage to the frames.
Not ideal, but ok.

PS Their retail prices range from the VERY occasional bargain, to high, to outrageous. This is too bad, as I'll buy local if its a little bit more. Twice the going rate, not so much.

Like Path, I have a 'few'. They are far and away my favorite mag for the AR. Never had a single lick of trouble with them. At $11 I would do like USSA said and buy as many as you can afford.

Here is a little video that shows how well they hold up if you ever happened to run over the thing. ;D
