Just heard but can't find details anywhere that Green Peace A holes are at it again:

A group from green peace got around security at Mount Rushmore, scaled the back of the monument, and unfurled a banner nearly as large as one of the faces, supposedly next to President Lincoln, calling for the end of global warming.  They were arrested, hauled off in chains and the banner removed.

This is all from one short and quick radio report, but I haven't been able to find anything anywhere yet.

I checked Drudge and the NYT, nada. However, if the story is true, jail is good place for them. These idiots, like PETA, seem to care more about celebrity than politics anyway. Maybe they should paint their message on the side of a barrel and take it over Niagra Falls. That would get some press (and amuse the rest of us).
