DJ, just remember I did not put the needle in your arm, BP and Plates are fun and good for you, keep it up, and you will be a great shooter, aim small miss small, and all that.

Maybe you didn't put the needle in his arm, but you have done your share of "inviting" people to give it a try

I had people egging me on to give it a try, and I don't think there is a 12 (to the power of whatever) program that could get me to kick the habit now.
My suggestion to everyone is to get comfortable with the game, and then jump in with both feet. Unlike a lot of the sports that many worship, shooting is one where the average shooter can play with the pros. Can you imagine getting into a pick up game with Michael Jordan, a Tuesday afternoon 18 with Tiger Woods, a sand lot with the Yankees, or the city park with Frave? Shooting is even better. It is the chance to play a "Friday round" in Tiger's foursome, the ability to be called on to take the starting tip off, the chance to good behind the plate in the All Star game, or to be a starting receiver for your favorite quarterback.
If you know the rules, play the game safely, and don't chicken out, you are welcome on the range with the best of them.
OK DJ ... I may have just put the needle in your vein, but now it is up to you to push the plunger

Glad to hear your enjoying it! Keep it up!
If you are enjoying bowling pin, I suggest looking into steel challenge. I've been doing some looking at matches and really want to give it a try soon.
As you practice and prepare for anything and everything follow m25's advice "
aim small miss small," and add "
slow is smooth and smooth is fast."
