There was a time I got a great laugh out of parodies like this.  However, the combination of teaching safety and trying to convince others that we are not a bunch of heathen cavemen running around with the modern version of clubs has taken the fun out of a lot of t-shirts, bumper stickers and videos like this.

Don't get me wrong - I fully understand what is being said and the meaning, I do get a chuckle, and can enjoy watching (and reading) these.  However, through an effort to protect our Rights, hobbies, recreation, sport, and way of life I don't circulate these as jokes like I used to.

 We see the humor in it but people who are not as involved in the "gun culture" only see it as laughing about blowing people apart, and you get paranoid tirades like I did last weekend from that asswipe troll.

I agree, but somewhere along the line I found it easier to make fun of other things if I am going to fight for our Second Amendment Rights.

I once compared a joke like this to an abortion joke that commented on switching away from saline flush as a technique because the fetus were learning the back stroke.  Maybe that was funny in the abortion industry, but it gave me the energy to go without sleep to argue with those people one-on-one for weeks.

Sorry to rain on your parade.  I won't do it every time, but on occasion I will spout off.
