This show brought a tear to my eye because my gramps only made it home because of a dog and his handler. Guam my gramps said was as close to hell as he ever wanted to come. He mentioned to me and my family about how those pups that kept them from being killed in ambush or by tree snipers.

I had the same reaction to that program as you did.
There's a bumper sticker you find at the dog shows that says:
"The more people I meet, the more I like dogs!"
