Reminds me of my Grandfather in 1943, told a tale of a bar fight between Aussie Soldiers, and U.S. sailors, "giving it a go" over the affection of some ladies in the Australian Port.

They proceeded to beat up eachother and the entire bar, while the ladies laughed, MP's came, and rounded them up, they were ALL back on duty fighting the Japanese within a week, on the same side.

It's all about tradition among soldiers and sailors, as far as I'm concerned.  ::)
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
