Danica's gonna run NASCAR!

I wonder if she will break the record like she did in indy...
you know the record for the most starts before the 1st win. 

Montoya is going on three years and he ain't won.  He was supposed to be one of the best all around drivers out there.  She's gotta do a couple years in ARCA, Nationwide and Busch if she ever makes it to the show.  Driving and IRL car with all of it's downforce, full throttle for 300 to 500 miles will seem like a cakewalk compared to the new Cup car.  NASCAR is a long season compared to IRL, she's got some work ahead of her.  She's a great driver but I think the brute force of driving one of these cars is going to wear on her. 

Mark Martin is 50 and in better shape than all of his other competition, he loses 10 pounds of water during a race.  What is a 95 pound woman gonna do?  I wish her luck, it's great for the motor sports but I don't think she's Shirley Muldowney!

Man, that's just mean comparing anyone to montoya.  Fact is Sprint cup is the highest paying race series around.  And you KNOW she's getting paid more than all the other ARCA drivers put together or she wouldn't switch.  If she never win's a single race she deserves the money because she's going to draw the audiance / cash for everyone involved.  I think she WILL do well, & I'll watch, I'll buy her swag, & I won't be alone! 

Can you imagin the WOOPIN the first guy who crashes her is gonna get from the fans!!!  He'd better hope his car is still running enough to get him out of the angry mob that'll be waiting on him.

She definatly gonna draw a croud, NASCAR fans are huge to the sport.

I'm just saying that she's going from a 1600 lb IRL car with amazing downforce to a 3500 lb BRICK.  She's going to be working her fine little backside off just to keep up!

Again, it will be interesting and I'll probably watch more NASCAR when and IF she ever gets there.

Note she's not like a few have been in the past claiming how she's going to come in winning.  She wants to try her hand at it, and luckily will be doing it with great equipment, and I suspect a very good team.  I'd like to see her do well this first year, then move into Tony Stewarts Sprint Cup team car.  Sorry Newman.

Wonderboy Gordon, was tempted to go to Indy Class racing several years ago, tried it and said the cars were too touchy,...

NASCAR is a heavier, bulkier, slower, sloppier car than an Indy car, kinda like going from a precision Olympic Rifle to an AK.

You got to know how to drive the "slop". Same with Tony Stewart, Indy cars are to "sensitive"

We'll see how she does at Bristol, love to see her get nailed against the wall,...

Big friggin' whoop.

She's hot, quite the biotch and can't drive a lick (oops). You guys need to hear the radio communications during the Indy races from the other drivers regarding Danica's ability. Not overly complimentary. Oh well, it'll be fun due to that. Jr. is an idiot for signing her but he's got plenty of money for new sheet metal. There have been plenty of women that have tried NASCAR that have been a bit more "muscular" than Danica that haven't cut it. I'm glad she's jumping in just so we can end this fiasco.
