So what did ya get for Christmas?
« on: December 25, 2009, 01:08:49 AM »
Title says it. I got a gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods, which I will certainly use to buy a box of ammo. 8) My German Shepherd got 3 brand new unchewed, unslobbered Tennis balls for Christmas. ALWAYS a hit with him. I figure he deserved it cause he's probably behaved the best out of all of us this year.

Remote start for my Pickup.  But that is just the Big item.. I'm sure a few boxes of ammo and targets will be in the stocking when I get to the parents house for Christmas on Saturday

Nothing big for me this year (kids got all the big stuff), but the best gift, other than the ornament my 8 year old made for me,  :) is a new Case Trapper pocket knife.  I lost mine several years ago and never replaced it.  Thanks Honey! ;D

Lots of gifts that the kid made at school.

My wife and I really don't get each other much...we tend to get what we want when we want it.

Here's what I got myself for Christmas.

Not much for me (typical) but the 3-year old made out like a bandit. Lots of My Little Pony stuff (for her, not me - I don't need a pink pony in a diaper crawling across the floor saying something like "I'm going to get you!!" - I have enough issues in my life. But the precious little girl seems to like it  ;D ).

I did get Dillenger (Ben Johnson, Warren Oates) on DVD and a Barska 25-75 spotting scope. I also had picked up some silver rounds earlier this year. One with a koala bear for the little girl, another with the scales of justice and Liberty head for my older son.

With unemployment, Christmas is a bit thin this year - except for the little one. Else there would have been a Sig 238 under the tree as well for me.

Wife and I are huddled in a warm house with two dogs and a cat keeping us company.  Several phone calls from a very lonely mother-in-law, and those that were supposed to make it that didn't.

Today we are just enjoying each other, and will celebrate next week when daughter is home.  I'm sure we'll do some small things for each other (even though we said we wouldn't), but we are looking at a warm trip in February ... Which has her looking at some bike trading, cuz we're talking of hauling bikes when we go  ;D  Will wait and see, but ever since the fire we don't get to worked up over "stuff."
