Jr College personal enrichment courses
« on: January 06, 2010, 04:18:46 AM »
I just got the Spring catalogue from Bismarck State College.

I'm looking at taking either a billards course, a dance class, or a four hour self-defense course.  I'm not bad at pool, I have a couple moves I know other than that I can embarrass myself pretty good on the dance floor, and I know my close quarters skills are rusty, but I can get myself out of most anything.

four hour course maybe good enough to knock most of the rust off, but it would torque me off to pay the $45 and learn more from watching Pincus or Janichfor five minutes than the four hour course.

If I can get one of my friends to take a dance class with me that would make up my mind really easy, but I'm bored tonight and thought I'd put it to a vote.  1. pool 2. dancing 3. self-defense course

If you take the dance class, DR, you will have to use a snap of yourself in a tutu as your avatar from now unto time immemorial!

Take the dance class. The ladies like a guy who's a good dancer.

Take the dance class, nothing wrong with a little belly rubbing. Get your martial arts somewhere else.

I'm leaning toward the dancing.  The dojos in town are all Tae Kwon Do.  I don't need to know how to break a board and I'm just a little rusty so.

Might meet some girls in the dance class.

That's in the positive column and the negative.  Women have a way of cutting into my ammo budget. ;D
