I have had the same thought, Garand, but after a bit of reflection, I realize that the folks running DRTV can only be pleased with the increased membership.

We all know that they provide a great service for us and have to know that what is good for DRTV is good for all of us (and if it pleases them, well, we will be happy with that anyway).

New members mean new views and opinions all of which is good.

The manufacturers who provide the products will be pleased with the membership increase for, they too, are interested in promoting their product.

It can only help the DRTV TV Shows to have viewers respond by joining here.

What will be a disappointment is if the new members do not continue to be involved here.  I know that not everyone who comes here, even for reasons other than the extra giveaway entry, ends up being a long time contributor, but hopefully we will retain many of our new members.

So, Welcome to DRTV.  I hope you enjoy everything DRTV has to offer, just keep your hands off my Wilson.  =)

The new members can enter the giveaway had they not joined.  Membership only gives a second entry

Wow a friend of mine said this was a good forum, and he's right. It's great of you to do a giveaway like this!

Well, if it's on the CA list and can use a ten round magazine then I can win it.

I can't win this one becuase NJ has the 15 round max mag rule. Maybe they'll fix me up a couple custom mags when I win it?

I got the blues as my companion.

I too think that this gun is great. And I too would love to have it. But I, due to an accident of birth, live in California. Now as most of us know, in California having a gun that can hold more then ten rounds is a sin and as such is forbidden! I didn't make this rule I don't really feel any safer because of it. However because of the rules of the giveaway I can't have a chance of winning it.  :(   For all of the participants in this giveaway who don't live in California this may seem like an advantage which I am sure it is. I would move if I could but I can't now. So I make this appeal. Couldn't some accommodation be made for those of us who find themselves in a similar situation. How about a ten round magazine. Not everyone in California is antigun. Those of us who support the Second amendment need the support of those from other states with a like mind,

In the spirit of accomodation, DRTV has provided a means for you to--should you win-send your gun to another member (preferably one whose screen-name ends in a number divisible by 2) who will send you a California-legal gun for your enjoyment.......

(.....now, where did I put that Daisy Red Ryder?.....)  ;D
Why, yes....I'm the right-wing extremist Obama warned you about... ;D

I just wish Texas was as free and independent as everyone thinks it is...   :'(

Well a grateful user with a screen name not divisible by any integer graciously thanks the user whose name IS divisible by 2 for the accommodation.

Well, I'm okay to win it  - Ohio's cutoff is 30 rounds.  I would be happy to hold on to it here if someone wins it who can't keep it by law in their state. ;D    Really I would do that
