I dug out my TANK for a picture.  I love the gun, but it is a heavy monster!  Looking at that "Paratrooper" model's making me think about rebarreling mine!  Hmmmmmm.  :)

Hell no it works like a champ. That gun has taken the most hogs than any other in my collection. I only paid $250.00 bucks for it brand new at Richs arms 11 years ago.

Have to be the AK. Due to the Mags vs. striper clips issue.

something a little different.

Albanian bolt carrier / handle.  Before having the barrel ported like that I'd probably have them take about 3 or 4 inches off it (AK's and SKS's are actually "overgased" anyway).

I'm liking stripper clips more and more for "civilian use"

There used to be an after market muzzle brake that looked like that. You had to remove the front sight/bayonnet assembly, and it would pin into place. I always liked the "look" of the rifle after installation, but I don't think they worked very well. I haven't seen them in a long time.

Nice looking SKS's on display here....  8)

BTW, does anyone make a NON-detachable 20-rd SKS mag? I've been looking for that kind of setup for awhile, and I'm pretty good with clips...

I think they do make a fixed 20 rounder, looks just like the 10 only longer, as well as a 5 rounder, but I have no clue what website I saw them on.

The critters are out there...  They quit importing them a while ago, and everybody's sold out.  They were going for around $65 before they were all gone.
