Sorry M58, the Saints won,Great game, as we were talking, I said no field goals, and guess what field goal wins. I will take a drink for you and your fellow minnestoans.

I don't watch sports much, but this was a great game.

Thanks  :'(

I'm on for the next two nights, so I have to wait till after visitation on Tuesday night before I can try and forget.

I will give it that was a great game.  And, the Saints are a great team worthy of going to the Superbowl.  However, I will not move from my position that all they did tonight was hang in there and capitalize as we handed it to them.  We out played them in every area except ball retention, and it took us several tries of giving it to them for them to finally nail us to the wall.

Damn I need a drink!

One bright spot is that I think Favre got beat up enough that he will not try it again next year.  I believe there were times tonight he was saying "What the H*** am I doing here?"

Gentlemen,
Having just enjoyed a great football game I had no dog in that hunt, maybe a little hope that Favre could have another shot at a super bowl. Great game though, and the Vikings controlled the game. They made the difference by giving up the ball too many times. Without that there would have been NO overtime.
Good game, and I can certainly get behind the Saints and their first-ever super bowl trip.

As far as the Saints, drug test them, drug test them all, especially the damn cheerleaders! Seriously, a great game, I don't watch sports much either, but this was worth every minute. To quote Lord Nelson, "I'd rather have a captian who is lucky rather than one who is skilled". I will be cheering for NO. Hopefully they will pull it off. (of course I also root for the Cubs so what do I know)? ;D

Great game last night!! I bet Favre is black and blue from head to toe today!!! Saints put the wood to the ol boy, they'll have to do the same to Manning if they hope to win against the Colts. Should be a high scoring Super Bowl and a good one to watch.

Outside of fumble fingers, I beleive the difference was in the quarterback protection.  I think that if we had treated Brees like they treated Favre we would have taken it.  If Indy can get through the line they can take the Saints.  However, if NO's offensive line does its job, like last night, it will be a coin toss ... kinda like last night  :'(

I ended up distracted last night, but managed to catch the first possession by each team. The ones that resulted in a TD each, plus Favre getting sacked. Apparently set the tone for the whole game. Sorry I missed it.

Yesterday morning, our pastor, who hails from Texas, appeared on the platform wearing - I kid you not, a Vikings jersey and a Viking's helmet - the kind with horns. Apparently he lost a bet the week before, something to do with the Cowboys' loss to the Vikings. This was his penance, how he had to repay the debt.

I'm thinking Colt's will win the Super Bowl.
