Fred preparing an exit or just joking?

I'm not sure how to take this report. Was Fred really joking or was this an acknowledgement that he does indeed need to do better than third in Ia? And is the campaign preparing supporters for the withdrawal on Jan 5? We will know soon enuff.

I would wager someone in the campaign supplied the "speculation" here. Fred IS preparing his exit.

Sorry, not true.  Fred was just on CNN and said this rumor is false.

Politico is miffed at Fred cause he dissed them at an event (forget which one) by not allowing them to cover it.

Just watched Fred's denial of the report on both CNN and Fox. Altho it is true Fred denied the report in politico.com watch the vids carefully for what he doesn't say.....he does not say he is in this to the finish or will definitely continue no matter the Ia outcome.

In any event we will know late tonite or early tomorrow. Anything less than 1st or 2nd and Fred is effectively out of the race.
