WEllllllll, where to start  lol.i've been a ruger fan for many years, right now im waiting for the recall issues to be cleared up so i can get my SR 9 thats been on order for about a month. My favorite ruger was probably the new model blackhawk i had in a 44 mag.one day dad and i went to the police pistol range in tampa.we got out of the car and strapped on our hardware,me and my blackhawk in brushed stainless steel and my dad with his 44 dragoon.we strolled up to the firing line with our heaters strapped on our hips passing an FBI agent along the way who gave us some dubious looks, lol.we fired a bunch of lead downrange enjoying each others company and spitting lead,a lifelong love for both of us.as near as i can fifure the Fbi agent must have been watching s because he gave us some real dirty looks on the way out.only thing i can think of is we were better shots, hehehe.dad and i both had a grand laugh over that.dad is a retired police officer and ive been shooting as long as i could pick up a gun.in retrospect, that blackhawk was a sweet shooting tack driver and i miss her.cant wait untill i get my sr9. ;D

I just noticed that my first post in this forum is on page 22. How appropriate since all three of my Rugers are .22s. A Mark II Target, a 22/45, and my favorite, a pimped-out 10/22 "assault rifle". I always wanted a .22 Magnum 10/22 rifle, but wanted one with a 20 inch barrel instead of 18-1/2". I kept watching and waiting for the factory to make one so I wouldn't have to, and they discontinued the .22 Magnum 10/22 altogether. Probably because they only had one model and people like me weren't buying it. They should have made a 20" classic rifle to go with the carbine. Since that's no longer on my wish list, I want a Blackhawk, but I have to decide between a .45 covertible and a .44 Magnum.
