Oing to shooting sports...
« on: March 18, 2010, 08:49:55 PM »
Down Range radio is my favorite podcast.  I subscribe to 15-20 podcasts, several shooting related and several on other topics.  I have listened to all of the episodes.

To this day, I can not tell you what the guy in the advertisement for Outdoor Channel is saying:

"Oing to shooting sports...  Oing to see the newest firearms before anyone else?  Then there's only one place to be on Wednesday nights...  Outdoor Channel.  America's leader in outdoor TV."

Please...Please...someone tell me what oing means????

Sorry Stone Raven, But until you learn the secret handshake, we're not allowed to tell you. ;D

Dude, I'm half deaf in my GOOD ear  ;D

To be serious, (and some one who actually KNOWS about this stuff will probably explain why I'm wrong ;D )
I have heard the same commercial on other podscasts  were it came through clear, so it seems like the way they cut in the edit.

Thank you, StoneRaven. I've been trying to figure that out for the past 2 years! I thought it was "Loing" (sounds like boing), then I thought it might be a seriously compressed version of "Are you into" shooting sports... What is that accent, anyway? I've never heard "firearms" pronounced as two words: "Fire Arms". Where do I go to learn the secret handshake?

Secret Handshakes Reveled!!!   $25 each.

I'll teach it to you for free.

But first you need the class.... 200.00
Then a permit.......................100.00
THEN I can teach the "secret" hand shake
