As I listened to Michael talk about people not liking cowboy action shooting because of the dress, I had to laugh.

Having participated in my first IPSC competition this last Saturday, I saw lots of "dress up."

Guys with sponsor shirts and caps, funny belts, and other cool paraphernalia. I think the issue is simply that fewer people like to dress up in cowboy clothes.
I mean, seriously, people always dress up for competition, it just depends on what is important to them and, perhaps, those who take their shooting seriously can't resolve the dichotomy of dressing up like cowboys?

Good show, though! Point about practicing with primary self-defense weapons was well taken.
Thanks,
Dave
