Hogue overmoulded grips
« on: April 03, 2010, 03:22:39 PM »
I have a duty Mossberg 500 with pistol grip. I bought a Hogue Tamer grip for the shotgun. It did not have a sling attachment. They are sending me a scew-in attchment. Has anyone ever screwed in a sling attachment to rubber and where would you screw it in?

I am assuming the grip attaches with a single screw from the bottom of the grip, like other hogue grips, they will probably send you a new screw that has a sling attachment on the bottom, if this is the case, I would put some loctite thread locker on it, and check the tension often, as slings provide a lot of leverage to unscrew things by nature.
