Major props to the crew of Impossible Shots

The episode honoring WWII sniper Ted Gundy is the best episode yet. Talk about inspiring. I think I might actually be able to learn to shoot 1000 yards now! Brought back some interesting memories from high school. Sgt. Don Malarkey came to my school once to speak to the student body. I did audio video work for the school, so I got to skip class and set up the equipment for the event. I probably jacked my jaw with that man for half an hour while I was supposed to be working. Quite an honor to show the man how to use a wireless microphone. Told me the best cold remedy he ever found in Europe was Johnny Walker Black label! Quite a man.

You know, this got me thinking about this again...

I know I know nothing about what it takes to make a TV show, but I know one I'd never miss....

A show patterned after this episode of Impossible Shot...maybe called The Old Soldier...

Each week feature a Veteran, maybe start with Medal of Honor holders, and give them a visit to their old unit, or a similar one, and a chance to see what today's soldiers are doing.  Maybe team him up with a current soldier doing what he did back then.

Don't know what it would cost in expenses to get the Vet there, but I'd chip in a buck a week and I bet there would be no less than 10,000 others who would make the same donation.  That $10,000 would go a long way towards travel and lodging expenses and a good show of appreciation to that Veteran.

The producers can decide if it would make the number to be a go...I'll just wait and see.
