Lame Hollywood attempt at race war movie?

I rarely read infowar.com. There is just too much ideology and too little objectivity on the site. However, here they have it right. The video on the upcoming Rodriguez "El Machete" movie script, funded by the Tx. government, is 10 minutes of must view. I really, really hope it doesn't go there, but all takes is a critical mass of jackasses on either side. :-\
FQ13 who thinks that there is far more that unites us than divides. But history shows that in the US our racial division is very easily exploited by self seeking bastards of which ever side. George Wallace and Jesse Jackson can both KMA.
Anyway, Click the link and watch the vid if you want to start your day by being seriously pissed off at illegal immigration, Hollywood and how even conservative politicians refuse to deal with the problem. Oh,and by the way, if you're white, you're a racist and deserve to be hacked to death. Probably in 3-D, I'm not sure, but it will beautifully filmed. All I ask is a portion of the special effects budget to buy more ammo. >:(

That is so very sad.  There is a lot of talent in that movie.  I wonder if these folks really need a paycheck that bad, were seduced by the Rodriguez-Tarantino connection, have the need to get back into the public eye so they will do anything, or are just that screwed up.

As I get older I find that I am more offended by hypocrisy than anything else.  And there is plenty of it coming out of Hollywierd.  The racism, sexism, and stereotyping in this movie is laid on with a trowel and yet these very same people decry these things while getting very rich from them.  Too bad the radical Islamic crowd (that doesn't exist in Eric Holder's world) isn't targeting the left coast.

Right there with you. On the one hand, as a Southerner, I was raised to respect Hypocrisy. (We call it good manners down here). As my great granddad said, "There are plenty of reasons to kill a man. There are none to be rude to him." ( God I love that quote);D I'll even accept that "honest" hypocrisy, if there is such a thing, is useful. Its the tribute vice plays to virtue. We know we won't live up to our moral standards, but we praise those standards anyway because we know how important it is to have them.
On the other hand, I find myself much more inclined to respect an honest asshole, than one who wraps himself up in moral righteousness. Give me a radical muslim who says I want to abolish the Constitution and impose Sharia anyday over one who plays the victim card and claims Sharia as a "voluntary alternative social contract" (and yes thats a real quote from an English imam). Give me a pro-illegal activist who talks about reconquista over one who just tells me I'm a racist for wanting to enforce our laws. Your BS isn't going to fool me and I'd just as soon you just tell me the truth. I may not agree with you, hell, I may even shoot you if it comes to that, but at least I'll respect you for being an honest man. I think that as we get older, our BS meters are so badly strained by living in our society, that we just set them to BS, or No BS, and stop worrying about the fine gradations. :-\

I so hate all stereotypes. I live in Kentucky so everyone thinks I am a hillbilly and of course since I am white I am also some sort of kin to the nasty salve owners of the per-civil war days. Yeah,,, right!

I personally have no issue with ANYONE that is here in the United States legally. My brother-in-law is from England (Nottingham). But to say that illegal aliens are NOT criminals is a slap in the face to all of those people here in America who have gone through the necessary channels to come here legally.

It is ironic that these people, including the heads of state from the “native” country’s, so damn this country for every little attempt we make to control our own borders while  maintaining some of the most strict anti-immigration laws in the world.

I do love this country and I can clearly see why others would want to come here. As an American I have to DEMAND that people immigrating here be screened. I do NOT want any other countries criminals. We have enough problems with crime without the added stress of the influx of the illegals. Even here in Kentucky the rapid increase of illegal aliens over the past 10 years is staggering.  We, as a country, have to gain control of our boarders before that lack of control doom this country.

That is just sad. You couldn't pay me enough, poor as I am, to be in this thing. What are these folks thinking? Be Niro? Honestly? I shudder to use the words "Alex Jones is right" because I generally dismiss him and his conspiracy theories, and for good reason. Yet here he is correct. This is like "The Birth of a Nation" or "Triumph of the Will". Even if it remains as nothing more than a cult classic (which it will at the very least be given Rodriguez's track record and the cast), its still a hateful divisive movie that reduces people to their skin color, dehumanizes them and justifies violence. Even a few people who sees this film as something to emulate are a few too many. I don't generally blame art for emulating life. I also don't expect deep thinking from Hollywood. I also get the desire to make a buck. But honestly. What made anybody involved in this abortion from the janitor on up think it was a good idea?

DeNiro is an actor, nothing more, nothing less.  His political views mean nothing to the thinking population and he is no tough guy. The rest of the cast are not that impressive though Alba can sit on my couch in a bikini any day of the week. ;)

Rodriguez and Tarantino are the two most annoying director/producers in the last thirty years.  Thankfully, I've paid nothing to suffer through their movies.

Timothy....who suffered through years of Billy Jack drive in movies...

I heard that they were in talks to do ANOTHER one a few years ago.....thank God I never paid more than 4 bits for a drive-in ticket.  That would be fittttty cent to you young guys...
