I know this sounds like I am late in jumping on the band wagon, but I'm heading to Phoenix for the weekend. For those who don't know, I am currently in L.A. helping my daughter and son-in-law with their business and looking after my 16-month-old grandson. (Now that's something that will confirm one's real age in a single morning.)
I found a great excuse to head over to AZ since my folks are AZ residents and Mom is having her 90 birthday on Saturday. While I am there, I expect to patronize a gun store or two and stock the newly purchased ammo at the folk's place until I return in September. Had to fly to Kalifornistan and that meant leaving my guns in Florida. I'm out here until July 5th and that's the longest I've been unarmed in the past 15+ years. It feels reeeeal uncomfortable--especially in LA, Mexico del Norte.
I hope to chat with some of my fellow gun-nutz in AZ and I'll report on my findings.
Any of you ever watch YaboGabba (sp?) on Nickleodeon? The kid is mesmerized by it--and I am seriously thinking about taking up hard drugs as a hobby.
Thoughtfully submitted by Crusader, who loves being a Grandpa, but is a little unsure about this Nanny stuff.
