Glock Question: Am I a pansy?
« on: June 06, 2010, 12:04:56 AM »
I figured that header would have folks standing in line. Bloody Pingu....Let's play whack'aQuaker instead. ;) Still, there is a serious question here. In my Glock G-26 (perfection, all Kool aid aside) I simply cannot get the 10th round in the mag without using the reloading tool. The best my thumbs will do is nine. This is not a hardship as this the way I load them anyway. One less than max. Still, at the range today, I could not get that 10th SOB in without a mechanical aid.  I never had this problem with my G-17. Here's the deal, mock away, just make sure that each mocking post has a practical piece of advice attached.

I have the same damn problem with my G26, I added a plus 2 bottom and that fixed the issue. I tried to put that last round in the mag but its was painful. So I carried it 9 down and 1 in the pipe.

I know it's a little different, but with my G27, I have no problems with either the 9th round in the standard length mag, or the 10th round in my mags with the Pearce +1 extension.

Maybe it's just an issue with G26's......... or either you're a pie-ass.........   ;D  ;D

Your a PANSY only if you have painted your Glock PINK.  Don't be a fool, use the tool.

Its OD green (sigh, and resigned shrug). Is not right, its just what the dealer had in stock when I did my trade. Still, Glocks should be black. Just like the NYT should be in black and white "The good grey Times'. There should NOT be color associated with a Glock. An EBP should be freaking black. Otherwise what will the antis bitch about and what will we laugh about. Pink? Green? Tan? Get off my obstacle Pyle, the Glock is a DAO 9mm handgun in basic black, do you understand that recruit? Sorry, off topic. ;)

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

FQ, It's plastic for crying out loud, one can of flat black Krylon and you have nothing to bi%$h about except the magazine.
Check your mag spring length, if it is to long it would give you grief, otherwise, use the tool, it's what we have opposable thumbs for  ;D
If you do need to reload during a fire fight no one will deduct points if you only stuff in 9  ;D
