LaPierre & Helmke Debate Post McDonald Gun Rights On PBS
« on: July 08, 2010, 09:30:28 PM »

The recent landmark Supreme Court decision in McDonald v. City of Chicago guarantees that law-abiding American citizens have a fundamental, federal right to own handguns in their homes for self-defense, but the long-term implications are yet to be fully understood. NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre and Paul Helmke of The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence join Gwen Ifill of The PBS NewsHour to discuss the decision, future lawsuits, the labyrinthine DC gun restrictions since the federal ban was lifted, criminal justice and anti-gun Supreme Court Nominee Elena Kagan. Originally aired June 28, 2010.

Since Sotomayor stated "Heller is settled law", why did she and the other Lib Justices dissent and vote to maintain the Chicago ban?

I know the answer, it is rhetorical....

Kagan is an Obama clone, she will always have NO support of 2nd Amend/ Firearm related cases brought before SCOTUS in the future.

The confirmation hearings are a farce, and a sham.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

NO! You'll stain the good chair dude! All the rest are covered in cheeze whizz and Cheetos crumbs. The good one is reserved for things like ham and cheese and crackers that won't stain. Its leather you know!  ;D
