I don't know why but this pistol has grabbed my attention. I have not held one or shot one yet but everytime I go to the gun store I see one and it calls to me. I would like to get a 9mm so I could free up more funds for practice. Shooting 45 is killing me and I am suffering for the lack of actual firing practice.

The FN9 is a fantastic pistol. Get one if you can. Mine even shoots that Tula, 115gr. 9mm or any other brand of "not top shelf" ammo without issue.

For carry, which is very possible in the right holster, i.e. Galco Summer Comfort, I like the Winchester SXT's or Cor-Bon DPX, I even like the 147gr Georgia Arms JHP's. The pistol just eats it up.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I think the FNP-45 is a little too beefy for CCW, but that's just me. I'm starting to see some holsters for dot-sight handguns, and it shouldn't be that much of a big deal to make them. I have carted the big FNP as a briefcase gun when I had to go to DA BIG CITY DOWN THE HILL, because you can never be underarmed on field trips...
